In this workshop, participants will explore the benefits of establishing positive relationships with all young children. Participants will be challenged to move beyond thinking that morning greetings, positive interactions, and pictures of children and families establish relationships. Strategies will be shared to help participants gain an understanding of the unique differences and learning needs of each child and techniques will be discussed to assist participants in providing culturally responsive practices that set the foundation for learning partnerships.
