Research shows how movement and exercise provide a brain boost by increasing heart rate.  It has the potential to support self-regulation.  This workshop will review the impact of exercise on brain development, how that correlates with self- regulation and provide classroom strategies.

Upon completion, participants will be able to apply concepts to understand how both strength and endurance are key components to successful exercise programs. Problem solving through demonstrations and lab activities, you will learn how to use exercise to create activities and opportunities in the classroom using a strength energy model which supports positive participation for all learners.
