As children continue to spend their "school" days at home, families are turning to teachers for support ideas. How can parents help their children get through long days without peers & familiar activities? How can students with communication, sensory, and learning differences get what they need? These questions are at the center of this resource-filled webinar focused on children with autism and other developmental differences. Paula Kluth will share five ideas for supporting young children on the autism spectrum including integrating movement, expanding visual supports and creating social support tools (e.g., power cards, social narratives). The ideas featured in this presentation are easy to implement and appropriate for both home and school settings. Specific tips related to e-learning home-school collaboration will also be offered.
