The mission of EITP is to develop a comprehensive system of personnel development that is regionalized, responsive and reflective of best practices in the field of early intervention.

  • Illinois Child Find Project

    Educating the public about the importance of early intervention and early childhood special education services for eligible children as early as possible in their development, the Child Find Project develops and disseminates informational education materials, and resource and service information to Illinois school districts, early intervention providers, health care providers, families, child care providers, educators, families and the general public.

  • Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS)

    IDHS’ Division of Developmental Disabilities provides services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. The PUNS (Prioritization for Urgency of Need for Services) statewide database records information about individuals with developmental disabilities who are potentially in need of services. In Illinois, enrolling in PUNS is the first step to the individual receiving state funded disability services outside the educational setting.
