“No I won’t!” and “You can’t make me!” Do these sound familiar to you? Have you ever felt angry at your child for their misbehavior? This can be a vicious cycle when we as adults get upset with a child’s anger and aggression. It can leave you feeling frustrated and helpless – like you’ve tried everything and the results are completely ineffective. Join us to learn about the functions of the brain and its relationship to self control as we build an understanding of what’s behind anger and how to stop taking it personally. Leave with strategies to manage anger, and ways to support children as they learn appropriate behaviors. |
